The Mandelstam School (TMS) seeks to provide need-based financial assistance to qualified students. We utilize a third party, TADS (Tuition and Data Services), to process our need applications and help determine a family’s ability to pay. TMS receives a confidential report outlining your financial situation based on the information obtained in your application and supporting tax documents. This report provides an estimated amount your family can contribute to educational expenses. TMS is solely responsible for determining the final aid award. The analysis provided by TADS serves as a recommendation only. The amount of this award is applied to tuition only.
We believe that the family holds the primary responsibility for the financial support of education. We ask families to explore their resources when applying for financial aid so the available funds may be distributed fairly and where they are most needed.
Recipients of aid awards are expected to maintain confidentiality regarding any award they receive.
Financial Aid Guidelines
- New students’ families should complete admissions and financial aid applications concurrently; financial aid applications are considered only after a new student has been accepted.
- All families receiving aid must re-apply each year.
- In separated or divorced families, each parent or guardian must apply and submit supporting documents.
- All admission decisions are made without regard for financial need.
