Speech & Debate Club

Student in the TMS Speech and Debate Club delivers a speech.

 Ms. Pinamonti is excited to invite TMS students in grades 3–5 to join her after-school Speech & Debate Club where young learners will build confidence, develop critical thinking skills, and learn to express themselves clearly and persuasively.

In this fun and supportive environment, students will participate in engaging speech games, mock debates, and opinion-building activities designed to strengthen their public speaking abilities. They’ll learn how to organize ideas, support arguments with evidence, and listen respectfully to opposing viewpoints, all while having a great time!

With opportunities to write and deliver their own speeches, collaborate with peers, and even take part in friendly showcase events, this club is perfect for any student who wants to become a more confident communicator. Whether your child is outgoing or just beginning to find their voice, the Speech & Debate Club offers a positive space to grow.

Available for students in grades 3-5. 

4-week session begins on Friday, August  22nd, 3:45-4:45.
