Our student body took part in the Empty Bowl Challenge. Each child created a ceramic bowl…molding, stamping, painting and glazing to create a unique masterpiece. “Empty Bowls” is a movement that supports food related charities around the world and has raised millions of dollars to aid in the fight against hunger.
All the beautiful bowls were displayed at our Ballet Recital and available for a donation. Proceeds were collected and presented to the Urban Oasis Project. This nonprofit organization is striving to make healthy, local food accessible to ALL by teaching people to make and maintain food gardens in under-served communities.
